The intriguing duo Italoboyz (Marco Donato & Federico Marton) arrived in London at the beginning of the new millennium and have become an essential fixture in the capital's passionate electronic house and techno scene. From their notorious back-to-back DJ sets at FESH (333, London) they have exceeded their local status and now play all over the world. They obsessively explore and create the hybrid sounds of house and techno inspired by their love of minimalism, acid-house, jazz, and hi-tech funk. BLA BLA BLA was their debut album in 2009, while their first live set in front of one and a half million people at Loveparade in 2008. Greetings and Salutations,
 How's everyone doing out there on this brisk winter's afternoon? If you are in Los Angeles, I hope you are keeping safe and dry until the sun comes back out to play. There are two really great events coming up that I'd like to share with the group. On Saturday, January 28th, UK based (and Italian born) DJ due ITALOBOYZ will be making their LA debut at SEB's Crimson in Hollywood. "Although their sound has always been characterized by organic elements along with large doses of funk and energy, the distinctive flavor of their productions and DJ sets is due to a willingness to embrace and explore the various genres that develop out of this constantly evolving music scene." What does that actually mean you ask? These guys are innovators; constantly pushing the boundaries both in the studio and behind the decks. You can check out some of their material in the Video and Music galleries located on the left column of this email. On Monday, January 30th, Los Angeles based CAPITAL CITIES will performing at the legendary Viper Room in Hollywood for their very own showcase presented by 98.7fm.
